April 1, 2025 – MAPPA Co., LTD announced the launch of a new music label mappa records.

MAPPA has produced numerous works over the past 14 years since its establishment as a studio with the vision of “delivering animation that will stay in your heart forever.” We have started a new music label mappa records to further explore the depth of our creations and bring richer expression to life.

In cooperation with composers and artists, mappa records will create music closer to the world of the works than ever before and pursue the possibilities of “music” and “animation.”

In addition to music production mappa records will take on the challenge of worldwide distribution of music content, CD and LP releases, and live performances, to create opportunities for fans to enjoy its works even more.

About MAPPA
An animation studio established in 2011.
With a focus on the production of TV animation, we plan and produce animated content across all genres and in various other formats such as movies, commercials, and online videos. We also use the rights we own for specific IPs as we operate our domestic and overseas licensing business.
Representative works include JUJUTSU KAISEN, Attack on Titan Final Season, and Chainsaw Man.
